Responsibilities * Our Sales Representative will sell individual health plan products and services in a field setting. * Make sales presentations to eligible qualified Medicare persons - virtually, at their homes, doctors' offices, etc. using approved governmental guidelines. * Initiate sales opportunities with seniors, individually or in groups, to sell individual health plan policies. * Make virtual and on-site presentations to prospective seniors or senior groups to increase enrollment. * Qualify prospects onsite and close sale, if possible. Otherwise, refer to inside sales for follow-up. * Influence department's strategy. * The Advocate Health Advisors Sales Representative sells individual health plan products and services in a field setting tailored to each individual's needs. * Under minimum supervision, initiates sales opportunities with seniors, individually or in groups, to sell individual health plan policies. * Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Required Qualifications * Hold an active Health & Life Insurance License Medicare sales experience - (2+ years experience preferred) * Ability to establish relationships with community partners * Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills * Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word * Ability to successfully navigate mobile applications * High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently * Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule Supplemental Pay: * Commission pay Experience: * Insurance Sales: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * Health Insurance License (Required) Work Location: In person
