About the Role
We're looking for a Sales Director who's hungry to grow, excited to lead, and ready to win in the Federal and State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) sectors. Based in the Washington, DC area, you'll be on the front lines, building relationships, opening doors, and closing deals that drive real-world impact. If you know how to navigate the government space, love technology, and thrive in a fast-moving environment, let's talk. What You 'll Be Doing
- Own and grow the SLED and Federal market for Gratitude Systems across DC, VA, and MD.
- Build strategic sales plans -- and bring them to life.
- Spot opportunities others miss -- then close them.
- Partner up: Build tight relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Stay close to the action: Work directly with senior leaders and C-suite execs at top government agencies.
- Drive full sales cycles -- from first call to signed deal.
- Be the expert: Understand your clients' business, tech stack, goals, and challenges inside and out.
- Forecast like a pro, hit your targets, and help us scale smarter.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of technology sales experience.
- 10+ years in government contracting (Federal or DC/local markets).
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent badass experience).
- Based in the Washington, DC metro area (this role is hybrid).
- A proven track record of winning big with government clients.
- The ability to open doors -- and build real, lasting relationships.
- Killer communication skills: Clear, confident, and persuasive.
- A self-starter attitude: You don't wait for permission -- you move.
- U.S. Citizenship required. What 's In It For You
- Base Salary: Starting at $92,000
- Bonus: Commission + Profit Sharing = Unlimited Earning Potential
- Flexibility: Choose 1099 or W2
- Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available
