Job Description: Sales Representative - Low Voltage/Telecommunications Field Position: Sales Representative Department: Sales Employment Type: Full-Time About Us Uplink is a leading provider of low voltage and telecommunications solutions, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of cutting-edge systems for businesses and organizations. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in delivering innovative communication and connectivity solutions to our clients. Job Summary As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales of low voltage and telecommunications solutions. This includes structured cabling, security systems, access control, audio/visual systems, and other related services. You will work closely with the technical team to ensure the proposed solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Key Responsibilities * Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling. * Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. * Solution Selling: Understand client needs and present tailored low voltage and telecommunications solutions that align with their goals. * Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to clients. * Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. * Collaboration: Work with the technical and project management teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. * Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management on sales activities, pipeline status, and results. * Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Qualifications & Skills * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. * Experience: * 2+ years of sales experience in the low voltage, telecommunications, or technology industry. * Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with low voltage systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications technologies is highly desirable. * Skills: * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * Attributes: * Self-motivated and goal-oriented. * Adaptable and eager to learn about new technologies. * Strong problem-solving skills. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: Remote
