Start CDL is a rapidly growing company dedicated to helping individuals obtain their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) through a streamlined and efficient training process. Our mission is to bridge the gap between aspiring truck drivers and high-quality training programs, ultimately contributing to the transportation industry's workforce. The Role We're seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and support our B2C sales team of 4. This role is focused on team leadership, process improvement, and performance management. The ideal candidate has experience managing small sales teams, driving results through coaching and strategy, and building efficient, scalable sales processes. Key Responsibilities: * Review and evaluate the current sales processes and team performance to identify areas for improvement * Contribute directly to revenue growth by driving team results and ensuring strong conversion across the sales funnel * Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to improve performance and productivity * Monitor sales activities and provide regular feedback, training, and development opportunities * Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation efforts and ensure lead quality * Set and track individual and team KPIs, and support the team in achieving targets * Ensure consistent and accurate use of CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics * Report regularly to company leadership on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities Requirements: * 2+ years of experience in similar position (sales leadership) * Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies. * Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience scaling sales teams. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. * Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
