About Us: Best Way Distribution is a growing third-party logicstics (3PL) provider specializing in warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment solutions. We help businesses streamline their supply chains with reliable, scalable logistics services. Our team is dedicated to customer service, operational excellence, and continuous growth. We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Associate to drive new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and support marketing efforts. This role blends strategic sales development with targeted marketing initiatives to expand our custoer base and brand presence. Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development (Primary Focus) * Prospect, identify, and close new B2B clients in the 3PL, warehousing and distribution industries. * Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. * Deveop and maintain relationships with existing clients, focusing on upselling and long-term partnerships. * Generate outbound leads via cold calls, networking, email outreach, and industry events. * Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into paying customers. * Utilize Freshsales CRM to track leads, manage pipelines, and maintain client interactions. * Hit sales targets and revenue goals through strategic sales efforts. Marketing and Brand Growth (Secondary Focus) * Assist in building the company's brand presence through social media, email campaigns, and digital content. * Support SEO strategies by contributing to blog posts, web content, and targeted outreach. * Work with leadership to create marketing materials (brochures, case studies, presentations) that support sales efforts. * Attend industry trade shows and networking events to represent the company and generate new leads. Experience and Skills: * 2+ years of sales experience in B2B. Logistics, warehousing, or distribution experience is a plus. * Proven ability to generate leads and close deals with a consultative sales approach. * Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Marketing experience is a plus, but the ability to sell and build client relationships is the top priority. * Experience using Freshsales CRM or similar software to track leads and manage sales pipelines. * Bachelor's degree OR equivalent professional or military experience is valued but not required. Compensation & Benefits: * Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience) * Commission: Flat % on total revenue (uncapped earnings) * Bonuses: Performance-based incentives (quarterly & annual) * Health, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance * Paid Time Off & Referral Program This is a full-time, in-person position, located in Kansas City, KS. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
