The Details: On The Go Hosiery, is seeking Full-Time Route Sales & Merchandising Reps to handle grocery, drug, and mass accounts in Montgomery County, MD and the greater Washington area. Candidates should have at least 2 years Sales and/or Merchandising experience. This is an ON THE GO JOB - upwards of 200-300 miles per week, 5-8 stops/day. You will drive a company vehicle - so no more mileage put onto your personal car. Company pays all travel expenses, including gas, tolls, vehicle maintenance, and other travel expenses while on company business. The basic servicing steps are: * Check-in with Dept Manager. * Straighten the product back to the Plan-O-Gram. * Replace any missing price tags. * Write an order on handheld computer. * Pull & invoice the order. * Verify the counts with the receiver. * Pack out the product onto our display. This is repeated 5-8 times per day. Additional duties: * Cover all assigned stores each week. * Merchandise our products according to company standards. * Ensure products are placed properly and shelves are clean. * Fill displays to avoid out of stocks. * Rotate products. * Complete weekly and monthly paperwork Job Requirements: * Valid driver's license, no dui's, clean driving record. * Ability to lift 10-25 lb boxes repeatedly, up to 25 times per day. * Ability to climb in and out of delivery truck, reach up to top shelves, bend down to bottom shelves, & drive up to 2 hours non-stop. * Ability to work up to 50 hours per week. * Associate's degree. * 21 years of age or older. * Computer literate with Internet access, Email, Excel, Word, pdf's. * Available to work early morning hours (5 AM start) * Pass Drug Test and DOT Physical Success Criteria: In addition to meeting the minimum requirements, successful RSRs have demonstrated: * Firm commitment to personal values * A strong work ethic * Prior sales and delivery experience * Good organizational skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * A sincere willingness and desire to learn continuously Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application Question(s): * Are you able to start work at 5:00 AM?
