Job Description

(summary)

• Oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department in coordination with the Sales Director & Commercial Director
• Handle discipline and termination of sales executives in accordance with company policy
• Provide leadership to the sales team
• Alert customers of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
• Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations
• Act as company representative at meetings, trade and events.
• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
• Analyze market to determine growth opportunities
• Develop business plans and implements marketing strategies to maximize cargo revenues
• Deliver sales presentations to clients
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls and visits
• Prepare periodic reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint showing forecast, sales volume and identified prospective customers
• Willing to travel to represent GAC in BOS, EWR, PHL, BWI & IAD
• Comply with an assigned set number of sales visits per week
• Maximize sales utilizing the company's system
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Business Acumen
• Minimum of 5 years of airline cargo sales experience
• Airline cargo operational knowledge a plus
