About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Senior Manager to lead the Balance Sheet Change Management team reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet Production in BSIRRM. This team will own solutioning for changes to models used in balance sheet/NII forecast for planning, interest rate risk management, stress testing, legal entity management, scenario analysis, etc. Wells Fargo Treasury is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning. The Balance Sheet and Interest Rate Risk Management (BSIRRM) Group performs quantitative analysis of the balance sheet behavior and has primary responsibility to measure interest rate risk (IRR) and design corresponding risk management strategies. The group oversees IRR simulation models, provides Management with balance sheet and risk profile insights, and contributes to the generation of risk management strategies. In this role, you will: * Lead and manage a team responsible for Balance Sheet Change Management to efficiently deliver changes to models used in the balance sheet/NII forecast framework with a strong emphasis on risk management, accuracy, speed, and transparency * Partner with balance sheet operations and forecasting teams to deliver high quality outcomes to product strategy, IRR strategy and treasury leaders on initiatives related to model updates, liquidity, capital, NII, scenario, and data * Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements, working alongside Technology and Finance teams to deliver transformation initiatives * Act as Application Business Owner for technology applications used to support forecasting framework * Ensure deliverables are completed and in compliance with various treasury risk management and regulatory requirements * Collaborate with Internal Audit and Corporate Risk Management * Provide leadership and mentorship to the broader BSIRRM Production team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure delivery on team objectives * Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Required Qualifications: * 6+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education * 3+ years of management or leadership experience Desired Qualifications: * Comprehensive understanding of finance processes, systems, and regulations, with expertise in areas such as balance sheet reporting, forecasting, and quantitative modelling * Experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM), SQL/VB script writing * Experience with IRR valuation concepts and trading products, preferably CFA or CPA * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment when meeting demands Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
