Our work environment includes: * Wellness programs * Food provided Inside Sales Associate Family owned since 1956 Cardinal Building Materials has been servicing our customers as a wholesaler distributor specializing in building materials for roofing, siding, windows, gutters and more. We are seeking a full time Inside Sales Rep with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow to join our family! In this role, you must be able to provide the following quickly, accurately and professionally: Quotes, orders, delivery requests, returns, order statuses and answering questions. While we would prefer experience, the fact of the matter is that we all learned this stuff the same way.by doing it! If you are dedicated and inclined, we can train you on the ins and outs of our materials. Over time with training and experience, will be able to specify and recommend products per the customer's needs! Specific Job Duties Include: * Receiving and entering orders * Answering inbound phone calls * Conducting outbound phone calls * Quoting custom and standard products * Performing follow-up on quotes and sales opportunities * Developing rapport to strengthen client relationships * Assisting with client relationship development * Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions Qualifications * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to meet challenging deadlines * High energy level and ability to maintain a positive attitude * Strong presentation development and presenting skills * Self-starter and independent thinker * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and must possess basic computer skills * Knowledge in roofing, siding and windows is a plus! * Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test Benefits may include: * Health, Dental and Life insurance * PTO Days * Paid Holidays * Paid Vacation * 401(k) with an employer match. * Work Monday - Friday and opportunity for overtime If your experience matches our requirements, we want you to apply today!
