Overview

We are seeking a Jewelry Associate to become an integral part of our team! We are a small but busy custom jewelry and repair store looking for an all around assistant to help with a variety of duties. Position is full time Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Check jewelry repairs upon arrival and after completion
• Maintain spreadsheet with customer jobs
• Utilize Quickbooks to enter invoices, inventory, and supplies
• Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using cash registers.
• Basic math skills necessary for performing retail calculations accurately.
• Filing both numerically and alphabetically
• Maintain Facebook and Instagram posts
• Cleaning and decorating
• Setting up and taking out display cases
• Other various duties to assist owners

Qualifications

:

• Previous experience in the jewelry industry is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to sort and file numerically and alphabetically
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
