We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Lines Support member. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Account Managers and help support our clients while gaining valuable experience in the insurance industry. Position Overview: In this role, you will assist an Account Manager with a variety of tasks including creating quotes, reviewing applications, and processing/ invoicing's new and renewal business. Additionally, you will play an essential part in the front-office operations by greeting clients and visitors, handling incoming calls, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who enters our office. This position offers a perfect stepping-stone for those looking to build a long-term career as an Account Manager. You will receive hands-on mentorship from experienced professionals, giving you exposure to risk analysis, relationship building, and other essential skills for a successful career in commercial insurance. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Lines Support - Quote and generate new business policies for all lines of commercial business. - Processing policy changes, including endorsements and addendums. - Issuing certificates of insurance as needed - Review applications, assist with processing, and invoice new and renewal business. - Maintain consistent, accurate, and timely communication with Account Managers (both verbal and written). Reception Duties: - Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. - Manage check-ins efficiently and provide assistance as needed. - Operate a multi-line phone system, answering and redirecting calls to the appropriate team members promptly and professionally. Other Responsibilities: - Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the office. Requirements and Qualifications: - Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to complex issues. - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and agency management systems. - Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Positive, outgoing personality with a service-oriented mindset. - Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn. Additional Skills: - While prior insurance experience is not required, an eagerness to learn and grow in the commercial insurance field is essential. - An interest in pursuing a career as an Account Manager will be advantageous.
