Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Assist customers with product selection, demonstrating knowledge of merchandise.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and organize merchandise on the sales floor.
• Utilize retail math to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support.
• Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve sales performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding store operations.
• Uphold store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in stock management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Proven skills in cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
