Local Sales Assistant Location: KTVN 2 News Nevada - Reno, Nevada Company: Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. About the Role

: The Sales Assistant supports the Sales Department by minimizing non-sales tasks for the team. This role assists the Director of Sales and Marketing Specialists with administrative duties to ensure efficient workflow and organization.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Enter contracts and schedules into Wide Orbit, including local political contracts, LUR tracking, and makegoods.
• Provide sales reports and maintain sales department files.
• Act as a backup for the National Sales Assistant, Inventory Manager, and other departments when needed.
• Monitor competing TV stations and prepare reports for Sales Management.
• Maintain and distribute updated rate cards to Account Executives.
• Enter barter program orders and manage barter spot contracts and pre-emptions.
• Assist Sales Management and Accounting with accounts receivable collections. What We 're Looking For:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2+ years in an office setting preferred
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Wide Orbit is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Must present a polished and professional demeanor.

:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• This is a non-supervisory role and requires collaboration with other Sales staff
• Occasional overtime may be required with prior approval during political season
