Job Title: Commercial Fleet Manager Location: Ken Grody Ford, Carlsbad, CA Department: Sales Position Overview: Ken Grody Ford in Carlsbad is seeking an experienced Commercial Fleet Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This key position is responsible for overseeing the sales, leasing, and management of our commercial fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial vehicle sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to develop and manage relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and corporate clients. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, operational knowledge, and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities: * Fleet Sales Management : Manage and grow the commercial fleet sales program, including identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and developing strategies to close sales. * Client Relationship Building : Establish and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, including businesses, government entities, and fleet operators. * Vehicle Procurement : Oversee the acquisition of commercial vehicles, ensuring stock levels meet customer demand. Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for specific fleet orders. * Pricing & Contract Negotiation: Develop customized fleet pricing structures and leasing options tailored to the specific needs of customers. Negotiate terms and contracts. * Fleet Service Coordination : Work closely with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle maintenance, including warranty and service contracts. * Marketing & Advertising: Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted advertising campaigns and promotional materials to generate leads for commercial fleet sales. * Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, customer satisfaction, and fleet performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management. * Team Collaboration : Work with sales, finance, and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences throughout the sales and post-sales process. Qualifications: * Proven experience in commercial fleet sales or vehicle leasing, ideally in the automotive industry. * Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of fleet management software and CRM systems. * Ability to work independently, with a proactive and self-driven attitude. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Skills: * Experience in managing large-scale fleet operations. * Background in working with government contracts or large corporate clients. * Knowledge of Ford commercial vehicle products and services.
