American General Tool Group owns, manufacturer and distributes tools, parts and accessories for 18 different brands located in North County San Diego. We are a growing company with a stable foundation. We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a competitive and fast growing field. This inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our continued growth in product/brand revenue. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with existing customers, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Responsibilities * Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails * Understand customer needs, market various product lines to target customers * Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest * Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory * Assisting our team with customer inquiries, upsell special items Skills * Proven inside sales experience * Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day * Recognition of clients needs using effective people skills * Excellent verbal and written communications skills * Strong listening and communicative skills * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * BA/BS degree or equivalent Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field - Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to effectively manage accounts and drive sales - Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct warm calling - Familiarity with B2B sales and business development strategies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
