American General Tool Group owns, manufacturer and distributes tools, parts and accessories for 18 different brands located in North County San Diego. We are a growing company with a stable foundation. We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a competitive and fast growing field. This inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our continued growth in product/brand revenue. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with existing customers, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understand customer needs, market various product lines to target customers
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
• Assisting our team with customer inquiries, upsell special items Skills
• Proven inside sales experience
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day
• Recognition of clients needs using effective people skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and communicative skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• BA/BS degree or equivalent

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field - Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to effectively manage accounts and drive sales - Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct warm calling - Familiarity with B2B sales and business development strategies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
