Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, account management, and technical sales within the construction sector. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to analyze market trends, and a talent for negotiating effectively with clients. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and fostering relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. We are a quickly growing company and are looking for the right person to start and lead our sales department. This position has a base salary of $36,000 a year and a 3% commission on the cost price of every project sold regardless of size. There is no cap on commission. Based off of 2024's sales numbers, this position would have earned around $96,000. We are open to discussing a higher commission only structure if it were to benefit both you and the company. We are projecting 2025 to be an even better year with a dedicated sales position. Brenn Luxury Homes is a residential construction company serving the Kansas City and surrounding areas. We specialize in new construction, basement finishes, and home additions. Duties * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals. * Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. * Manage accounts from first contact to contract by building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs. * Help estimate projects and close deals with prospective customers. * Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. * Attend networking events to continue to build and foster long term relationships Experience * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction sector (construction sector not required). * Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing successful sales. * Proficiency in analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
