Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
• Supervise stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Provide exceptional phone etiquette when answering customer calls.
• Assist with training new staff members on cash register operations and customer service protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
