Overview
: The Territory Sales Manager will manage and grow sales within an assigned region by nurturing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This is a field-based role with unlimited earning potential through a competitive salary and commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Territory Management: Drive sales and profitability in your assigned territory by managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and consistently growing market share.
- Customer Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts, while prospecting new clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop a targeted list of accounts and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand business with current customers.
- Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Identify high-potential prospects and use a consultative sales approach to establish meetings, understand customer needs, and present product solutions.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity within your territory, assess market trends, and use this information to develop innovative strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct engaging sales presentations to decision-makers, negotiate pricing, and close sales in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on business strategies and customer needs.
- Industry Engagement : Attend industry events to network and stay updated on trends.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure post-sale customer satisfaction by providing support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
Qualifications
:
- Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of B2B or field sales experience (Janitorial industry, services and industrial packaging experience a plus).
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office.
- Traits: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, resilient, confident communicator, and customer-focused.
Requirements
:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (insurance required at $100k/$300k/$100k coverage levels)
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills to handle a large territory and meet aggressive sales goals.
