Business Development Specialist At HOMEstretch, our goal is to become a leader in the home preparation space by helping homeowners and real estate agents prepare properties for sale. Our all-in-one solution includes junk removal, painting, landscaping, flooring installation, and cleaning services. We're looking to add an energetic Business Development Specialist with a proven sales record to join our core team and contribute to our market in (insert location). Position Overview: Are you ready to take on a ground-floor opportunity and work directly with our owner to build a thriving market? As a Business Development Specialist, you'll be responsible for cultivating partnerships with key realtors and real estate brokerages. Benefits: * Competitive salary starting at $40-50K + commission What You'll Do: * Develop relationships with real estate agents and work closely with clients to conduct consultations and provide expert advice on making homes market-ready. * Network within the community to raise awareness of HOMEstretch and our services. * Secure office presentations with real estate agents and referral partners. * Drive sales and business development efforts by introducing our services to KC-area real estate agents. * Collaborate with our Director of Brand and Marketing to implement effective local marketing strategies. * Partner with our owner to build and shape the market - this is a ground-up position with a direct impact on our success. * Conduct client consultations at their homes, discussing their needs and how HOMEstretch services can enhance their property. * Assist in crafting service quotes and follow-up with clients to finalize deals. What We're Looking For: * Proven track record in sales or customer service roles. * Experience with phone based sales * A people person who excels at building relationships and enjoys connecting with others in person and over the phone. * Punctuality is a must - we pride ourselves on being on time for every client meeting. * Excellent communication skills, with a rapid response to client inquiries via phone, text, or email. * Knowledge or eagerness to learn about home preparation services, including the latest design trends, painting recommendations, flooring options, and cosmetic improvements. * Real estate field experience is a plus. * Experience with painting, flooring installation or other construction trades is a plus. * Enjoy solving problems and working closely with clients to meet their needs. * Comfortable in a start-up environment where agility and initiative are valued. * Highly motivated and proactive, always seeking solutions to challenges.
