Position Title: Outside Sales - Telecom - Communications Consultant Position Type: Full Time Experience: 3+ in sales or sales management Location: Tampa, FL We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our local sales team. Preference given to individuals that are actively involved in our local community (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco). The KUDUCOM Solutions Specialist will be responsible for generating new clients for our business voice and internet services in the Greater Tampa Bay area. Job Duties: Core duties and responsibilities include the following below. Other duties may be assigned. * Meet and/or exceed monthly MRC (Monthly Recurring Charge) sales targets * Meet and/or exceed monthly new opportunity targets * Maintain a pipeline of new and existing opportunities * Contacting new prospective clients by phone, email, and in-person * Documenting activities in our client record management software * Attending outside networking meetings * Maintaining existing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and foster referrals of new business * Cultivate expert knowledge of the company's lines of service and technology Required Skills / Knowledge: * Basic knowledge of business Telecommunication services including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) & Internet service * Basic knowledge of network equipment including Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points and internet Modems/ONT's * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload * Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent team skills with the ability to create effective relationships with peers and partners * Independent, strategic and creative thinker who is a strong collaborative team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary Education / Previous Experience: * Four-year degree from a College or University in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable. * 5+ years in sales * 2+ years in solution based selling Work Conditions: * Mix of indoor and outdoor work depending on client location.
