Technical Sales Manager - Electric Motor Specialist The Electric Motor Specialist is responsible for identifying potential customers within a designated territory, understanding their specific needs, and providing expert technical advice on electric motors and related products to effectively sell solutions that best fit their applications, often requiring a strong understanding of motor design, performance characteristics, and industry standards, while also managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities may include:

• Customer engagement: Building relationships with engineers, plant managers, and other key decision- makers at potential and existing customers.
• Technical expertise: Providing in-depth product knowledge regarding motor specifications, power ratings, efficiency, torque curves, and application suitability.
• Needs analysis: Analyzing customer requirements to identify the optimal motor solution based on their application, operating conditions, and budget.
• Sales presentations: Delivering technical presentations to demonstrate how electric motors can address customer challenges and improve their operations.
• Proposal development: Creating customized proposals with detailed pricing and specifications to meet individual customer needs.
• Application engineering: Assisting customers with motor selection, sizing, and system design, including calculations and simulations.
• Troubleshooting support: Providing technical support to customers regarding motor installation, operation, and troubleshooting issues.
• Market analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies in the electric motor market. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
