Enhanced Landscape Management, LLC (ELM) is a landscape industry leader in California and Nevada with 700 employees. Our Maintenance Division offers comprehensive landscape and tree care to a wide array of clients such as homeowner associations, commercial facilities, hospitality/resort, retail, office parks, high-end estates and public works. Our growth and recent expansion have created the immediate need to grow our team of dedicated professionals. ELM is seeking a talented and experienced business development professional for our Oceanside/San Diego region to lead local business development efforts. We offer an industry-leading compensation package including uncapped earning potential through commissions paid quarterly on sales performance. General

Duties

• Develop sales leads by a combination of cold-calling and expanding upon existing client relationships.
• Research local market and develop sales plan in order to reach sales goal.
• Properly assess client needs and analyze what services should be proposed.
• Estimate, propose and sell landscape maintenance and tree care services in the local service area.
• Collaborate with operations staff on estimates/proposals.
• Attend and maintain relationships of industry organizations such as CAI, IREM, BOMA, etc.
• Track and report on sales progress on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in business-to-business sales - in the landscape industry or in the service industry
• Exhibit excellent communication skills - written and verbally
• Strong track record of sales performance
• Flexible hours relating to attending sales/marketing events and industry organization meetings.
• Have and maintain a professional image.
• Have strong work ethic and be able to effectively manage time.
• Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Clean driving history
