JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for consistently achieving sales growth objectives and Business Driver goals through the effective management of all key activities within the accounts. Plan, organize and execute the sales and marketing activities of all brands in assigned accounts. * Core Job Functions * Achieve all the sales goals and Business Driver Objectives in the assigned accounts * Target to meet all the distribution and activity standards within the account * Manage all selling activities within the accounts to include order mgmt, merchandising, signage utilization, program execution, Staff training, promotional activity, AR * Key Accountabilities and Workstreams * Analyze account base in order to identify key brand opportunities * Pre-plan sales calls and present promotional products and promotions to all buyers * Target and leverage display opportunities within the account foot print * Aggressively seek incremental space during promotional periods * Merchandise and provide visibility to our brands through signage, shelf talkers, * Consistently service all chain accounts, handling credits, OOS issues, etc * Inform customers and actively sell in programs and activities * Audit and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards for products * Manage Accounts Receivables to be within credit terms * Use all sales tools and resources for order entry and other sales related activities * Maintain current route list with current data and information * Use Data Driller for effective sales tracking * Execute new placements and authorizations in time frame needed * Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and sales events * Complete tracking forms as required by manager in a timely fashion * Leadership Requirements * Understand company and supplier priorities * Provide positive exposure for Company through quality service, and excellent support * Proactively communicate and feedback opportunities and issues to the managers * Develop and Build positive relationships with accounts * Balance Company objectives with supplier and retailer requests * Outperform competition when it comes to customer service ONGOING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:_ * TO IMPROVE THE WORK ENVIRONMENT by exhibiting respect, compassion, enthusiasm and a sense-of-humor on a daily basis. * SERVICE OUR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS by adding value for our fellow employees, our customers and our vendors and striving to provide effective solutions to solve their problems. * CONTINUALLY USE OUR MINDS AND OUR CREATIVE POWERS to improve overall company performance by suggesting more effective methods of operating. ACCOUNTABILITIES:_ * Daily deadlines for a Sales Representative includes: meeting order entry deadlines, and meeting daily deadlines for seeing assigned accounts. * Turn in money collected to office twice per week. * Audit and maintain QA standards and notify management of deficiencies. * A Sales Representative is sometimes responsible for performing duties beyond the normal workday. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:_ High school diploma * SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:_ Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. AND/OR set-up, regulate, and adjust simple machines or processes. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:_ Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, ability to move about to access various objects, ability to operate office machinery such as a computer, ability to communicate effectively. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
