OUTSIDE SALES (B2B) TO BUSINESS & INDUSTRY IN *KANSAS CITY METRO Turnkey EPA / OSHA Compliance Services VANGUARD ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. Title: Regulatory Specialist; Salary: $50K to $60K, Plus Commissions [please apply online] 1 (Tulsa-based) National Leader in "regulatory compliance management" seeks aggressive, career-minded business-to-business sales professional to further penetrate and serve KC Metro Industry in a plain-English communications style. Thousands of companies must comply annually with 60+ federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT compliance laws/regulations, plus KS/MO state laws, all of which carry stiff enforcement penalties of $69,000-$123,000 per day. Compliance is satisfied and managed by departments of Environmental Engineering, OSHA Education Specialists, and Environmental Science/Technology Professionals. Candidates must live in the Kansas City Metro Area Position can be remote office (from home); Or outside office can be provided. JOB FOCUS A 3-TIERED BUSINESS MODEL * (1) NEW CLIENT SALES on Vanguard's renowned Environmental Management System (EMS USA!) with primary benefits of Risk Mgt. Against Enforcement Penalties, Defensible Documentation, Legislative Updating, and Flat-Rate Fee Structure (avoids exorbitant costs associated with "billable hours"); * (2) ADD-ON SALES on compliance gaps identified through Vanguard's Environmental Management System to establish each client's site-specific Compliance Action Plan * (3) Serve and maintain through ANNUAL RENEWALS & CLIENT SERVICE. QUALIFICATIONS * 4 years (minimum) outside sales experience; Excellent oral / written communication skills * Persuasive skills to close clients on making serious risk management decisions * Computer literacy current with contemporary business standards * Professional appearance, highly motivated, and disciplined work ethic * Familiarity with KC Metro Industry important * Working knowledge of hazardous chemicals desirable TRAINING PROVIDED. Includes development of fluency/expertise on Federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT laws, plus KS/MO environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance regulations. EXCELLENT COMPENSATION.
