We create unforgettable environments -- and we're growing our team! Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, relationship-focused AV Event Sales Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for building new client relationships, consulting on production needs, and closing new business opportunities across Kansas City and beyond. Key Responsibilities * Prospect, qualify, and close AV production and decor opportunities * Develop and maintain strong client relationships (corporate, nonprofit, private event sectors) * Conduct discovery meetings, site visits, and venue walkthroughs * Create customized proposals based on client needs * Manage and track all sales activities and leads in the CRM system * Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless event execution * Represent Icon Event Group at networking events and client meetings * Meet or exceed monthly sales goals Qualifications * 2-4 years of B2B sales experience preferred (event production, AV, hospitality, or similar industries) * Understanding of AV production services (lighting, audio, video, staging) is a plus * Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills * Highly organized and proactive with strong time management abilities * Comfortable managing a high-activity sales pipeline * Proficiency with CRM systems * Valid driver's license required * Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metro area Compensation * Base Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 annually (depending on experience) * Commission: 8% of gross profit on closed events (uncapped) * On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 - $95,000+ with goals met Benefits * Health insurance * Access to CRM tools and branded sales support materials * Flexible work environment (in-office and client site visits) * Opportunities for career advancement as the company grows * Collaborative, fast-paced team culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $67,500.00 - $78,263.00 per year Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off Compensation Package: * Commission pay * Uncapped commission Schedule: * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application Question(s): * Do you have a general understanding of AV production services such as lighting, audio, video, staging?
