Job Description The Jeron Security Sales Specialist (SSS) position develops, maintains and grows the dealer channel and drives security and emergency intercom system sales primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication. This position contributes to annual sales goals by selling to existing customers and acquiring new customers through targeted prospecting, lead follow up, cold calls and emails. The security sales specialist also establishes new and on-going relationships with architects, engineers, and electrical/low voltage contractors within the US. Field visits as necessary to support customers and close large opportunities. This position reports directly to the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. * Executes the strategy to grow system sales and works with company team members in developing sales strategy. Responsible for driving sales growth and hitting or exceeding system sales annual sales quota * Maintains a current customer database and takes initiative to regularly contact customers to discuss their needs, and provide new product information * Develops a sales pipeline and regularly reports progress weekly to senior management * Maintains own technical product knowledge, understands product capabilities, product specifications, applicable regulations and limitations - keeps customers informed of such * Works closely with applications engineering for all bid requests, product quotes and proposal development Qualifications * Previous customer service / inside sales experience with systems, products or services * Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience in low voltage security systems * Understanding of electrical construction, communication or fire systems a plus * Detail oriented with strong phone and electronic communication skills to establish rapport with customers * Prior experience presenting in person or via web * Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications * Ability to travel throughout the United States (at least 25%) Company Description Jeron is a dynamic organization that sets the standard for excellence with our products.
