Full description of the position
Sales Engineer Code: SA-LTD Location: Warwick looking for a dynamic individual to support market growth within the Midlands sales territory. In this role you will be engaging directly with our internal product development teams and marketing to promote and bring dSPACE's new innovations to market. A great area of responsibility that allows you to grow in business and technical skills and apply these skills to be a direct part of the future growth of dSPACE ltd. Your responsibilities * Develop and execute your strategy for taking dSPACE to market. Developing and qualify new leads and progressing these to sales. * You will work closely with engineering teams to build proposals and generate quotes that are tailored for the customer's needs. * Part of your strategy will be to engage in significant intelligence gathering to build your specialised knowledge in our customers' applications, trends, and future challenges. During this process you will need to simultaneously build rapport with prospects to leverage new opportunities. * You will use your understanding of the market and intuition to recommend and lead future market engagement activities to grow business. * From your sales activities it will be important to regularly summarise and report the forecast and future business impact. Your qualifications * Business related degree with a passion for technology or engineering degree with business and sales experience. MBA degree would also be desirable. * Track record of professional experience in business development with technical sales. * Ability to work autonomously within assigned objectives, confidence to make decisions, solve problems and drive progress. * Have a proactive, inquisitive personality that works well with others as a team. * Have high levels of self-motivation and show initiative when business opportunities present themselves. * Essential to have excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport and influence. * Although Midlands focused, travel will be required on occasion.
