In 1978, the original company was created - then "Junction Hardware". The store evolved and grew from there, moving with its owners until, in 2005, we moved into a new 10,000 square foot building and rebranded to Scott's Hill Hardware and Supply company. As the story continues throughout the years, our customer service and satisfaction has always been #1. With timely delivery of materials, knowledgeable customer service, and competitive pricing we service all of our customer's residential, commercial, and Industrial needs through a traditional Mom & Pop hardware store! Competitive Hourly Rate, Full Medical Benefits, 401K Match, and PTO Package Tool Repair & Counter Sales Role Responsibilities * Maintaining a schedule of timely tool repair * Managing the repair of several tools at the same time * Greeting customers and helping them find the right tool for their job * Answering the phone and helping with customer phone inquiries * Writing up orders and processing payments * Expediting special orders and backorders * Assisting with the daily operations and upkeep of the business (counter, showroom, warehouse) * Restocking the showroom when new merchandise arrives * Resetting, cleaning, and general maintenance of the showroom displays (pricing, display tool assembly, etc.) * Promoting The Scott's Hill Hardware brand of excellent customer service via always presenting yourself in a professional manner Requirements * Profound knowledge of tool and repair processes * Ability to multitask * Strong customer service skills Scott's Hill Hardware is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
