Director of Client Relationships and Business Development $10B+ AUM Independent Investment Management Firm Tampa Bay Area, FL

Overview

Fast growing and dynamic Independent RIA serving institutional public-sector clients is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Client Relationships and Business Development to lead client engagement, drive growth initiatives, and guide business development strategy across key markets. The Firm provides fixed-income portfolio advisory and related investment management services for their clientele. Highlights

• Join the Firm's senior leadership board, influencing firm strategy, growth, and risk oversight
• Lead and mentor client service and business development teams across Florida and Texas
• Oversee revenue strategy and firmwide P&L responsibilities
• Strengthen client relationships while expanding market share through strategic growth initiatives
• Drive market research, product development, and go-to-market strategy
• Serve as the primary liaison between client-facing and portfolio management teams
• Champion innovation in investment solutions tailored to municipal clients
• Based in Tampa with occasional travel to conferences and field offices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Extensive experience in institutional financial services, preferably in local government finance
• Proven success managing high-performing teams in client-facing and revenue-generating roles
• Deep understanding of fixed income, liquidity management, and public sector investment needs
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Job Type: Full-time Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
