Full description of the position

The Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for growing parts business while continuously identifying and developing new business opportunities through existing accounts and prospective new accounts. This role has unlimited potential from an earnings perspective based on monthly commissions earned. Duties and Responsibilities: * Frequent local travel in assigned territory to make sales calls to trucking/leasing companies, truck/trailer independent repair facilities, municipalities, and school bus garages * Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers * Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services provided * Actively seek and identify prospective new customers through cold calling * Develop constant awareness of market/industry trends as well as competition/competitive products and communicate these with management * Develop sales plans with management and review sales plan progress regularly to ensure personal and departmental goals are achieved * Review sales activities, new sales opportunities, and sales objectives with management * Assist with customer parts returns, issues, and disputes as requested * Participate in job-related training and development * Collaborate with internal departments on any customer needs * Forward any possible leads for sales or service to the appropriate person/department * Help customers with warranty problems when applicable per the policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * Working knowledge of trucks, diesel engines, air brakes, HD transmission, axle, and driveline * Good customer service, communication, telephone, and organizational skills * Self-motivated, driven individual Job Types: Full-time, Commission Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company car * Work from home Compensation Package: * Commission pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
