About Fore & Wharf: Located at the corner of Fore and Union Streets in the heart of Portland, ME, Fore & Wharf is a men's and women's clothing boutique offering a thoughtfully curated selection of brands like Vuori, Faherty, Marine Layer, Rails, Rhone, and Joe's Jeans. Since opening our doors in July 2023, we've built a loyal community and are excited to kick off our third summer season.

About the Role

: We're looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team! If you have a passion for fashion, a knack for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and love the idea of working in a stylish, welcoming environment, you could be a perfect fit. This role is a key part of our day- to-day operations, and a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused setting. In this role you will :

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers
• Inquire about customers needs, recommend, and help select the right merchandise
• Greeting customers and assisting with styling selections
• Working with POS and processing payments
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Entering Inventory and Restocking items as necessary
• Other duties as assigned You should have :
• 2+ years of retail experience (Boutique, Women's and/or Men's clothing experience strongly preferred)
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in retail point-of-sale software (we use Shopify - If you have experience in that is great but training will be provided!)
• Flexible availability, weekend availability is required Salary : $20.00 - $21.00 per hour + bonus incentive opportunity Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
