Full description of the position

We use Savant Systems for home theaters and fully integrated smart homes to include audio/video, networking, lighting control and surveillance cameras and Lutron for motorized window treatments. Other integrated systems experience is acceptable, such as Control 4, Elan and Crestron. Please do not apply for this job if you do not have 5+ solid years of experience with one company in the smart home industry. REQUIREMENTS: * High organizational skills and time management skills * Excellent, professional English speaking and writing skills * Knowledge and understanding of the devices, components and the compatibility of these products that go into creating a smart home system * Both PC and Mac proficient * Apple device proficiency - iPhone, iPad, Apple TV * Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency * Ability to tech support yourself for basic software issue and how-to's * Ability to learn new software programs easily and independently * Valid Florida Driver's License * Ability to pass a background check and drug test * Lives no further than 45 minutes of 33704 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Checking and responding to emails and website requests for estimates on new projects and additions to completed projects Solicitation of new clients - Commission is 10% of product sales Manage calendar appointments, scheduling of field team and projects by working with clients, contractors, Systems Designer and Inventory Specialist Work with the Systems Designer and Inventory Specialist to create project installation timelines Track progress of projects, installations and service calls from beginning to end Meeting with potential clients to assess their needs while taking detailed notes Communicate with Systems Designer regarding what the client wants to accomplish Presenting clients with proposals created by the System Designer and discuss how the system will work Conduct walk-thrus on jobsites to facilitate communication with clients, contractors and our field team.
