Tamarack Industries is looking for a motivated and dependable Administrative and Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support to the accounting and sales teams by handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations, ultimately contributing to the team's success. Key Responsibilities: * Administrative Support: * Answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence. * Entering data, filing and maintaining records. * Processing incoming mail. * Processing accounts payable invoices and payments. * Assist with processing new customer credit applications. * Provide other administrative support as needed. * Special projects as assigned. * Sales Support: * Assisting sales representatives with processing orders. * Becoming knowledgeable of Tamarack's products and the solutions they provide to ensure potential and existing customers' needs are met. * Following up with clients and managing customer inquiries. * Identifying potential leads and opportunities. * Identifying qualified prospects, making effective sales calls, and manage follow ups appropriately to close sales. * Building upon client relationships by identifying new sales opportunities and offering exceptional service. * Maintaining and updating the customer database and daily call schedule in Tamarack's CRM. Qualifications: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organizational and time management skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite * Experience in accounts payable (preferred but not required) * Sales experience in business-to-business sales and customer service (preferred but not required) * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required) Generous benefit package includes: * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan (company match) * Group Healthcare (company contribution) * Life Insurance and AD&D Coverage * Health Savings Account (company match) Salary Range: * $40-60K (Depending on Qualifications) with bonus potential Tamarack has established and will enforce a policy to eliminate drugs (including marijuana) and alcohol from the workplace.
