Wire Mesh Machine Sales

This position is responsible for selling wire mesh welding machines, identifying prospective customers, to build an increased customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Sales will include working in an established market and identifying new leads through a variety of channels, developing sales presentations to communicate the benefits of our products, negotiating contracts, and processing orders. Territory includes North, Central and South America. Intensive travel be required. Proven experience in sales within machines and capital good to wire or sheet metal fabricators field.

Supervisory Responsibilities - None

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential customers through in-person, phone and email contact
• Maintain positive relationships with existing customers
• Attend industry trade shows
• Maintain ACT database
• Work with other sales, service and accounting departments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field
• Minimum 5-years sales experience in industry or related field
• Electronic and mechanical technical knowledge

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Proven experience in sales within machines and capital goods to wire or sheet metal fabricators field
• Ability to work alone and with internal/external customers
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Microsoft Office (Outlook; Excel; Word)
• Experience with ACT or other CRM software
• Ability to travel frequently (REQUIRED)
• Driver's License
