Full description of the position

F.W. Webb, Northeasts largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative for its Rochester, NY location.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow sales with existing accounts as well as new accounts.
• Identify barriers of opportunity
• Call on customers on a regular basis
• Maintain awareness of competitor activity
• Work with inside sales and other branch personnel to meet customer needs
• Complete required reporting such as scheduling, target accounts, call reports, expenses, etc.
• Work with principals to exceed sales goals
• Become a technical expert within the defined territory for principal products
• Assist service team when required

Qualifications:

• Must be self-directed and display strong initiative to complete goals
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent follow through
• Must be proficient at use of Excel and Word
• Ability to multi-task, and participate in solving technically challenging situations.
• Must exhibit superior customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
