Full description of the position

MediExcel Health Plan ([please apply online] is an ACA-compliant, cross-border HMO licensed by the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). MediExcel offers covered health benefit plans for employer groups in San Diego County and Imperial County.

Quality care is delivered at our all-inclusive healthcare campus in Tijuana and through our Medical Network in Mexicali. We cover Emergency and Urgent Care services worldwide.

Applicants must speak English and Spanish fluently, live in the region, and have appropriate industry experience.

The Sales Executive Serves as the primary contact for Clients, Agents, and Brokers. Participates in the proposal development process for new clients. Responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction & oversight of our sales channel partners, including the development & execution of marketing & growth strategies to achieve segment goals. This position is also responsible for supporting the company's Imperial Valley region through involvement with/ key regional organizations. Accountable for attaining defined growth goals and monitoring and reporting critical business performance metrics. This position is eligible for achievement incentives in addition to salary.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Accountable for achieving sales goals through channel partners.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract large employers in the region.
  • Responsible for sales funnel management process, lead generation, scheduling, and business development opportunities.
  • Collaborates on developing partners' recruiting, orientation, and training activities.
  • Evaluate and analyze customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to identify new prospects and business opportunities.
  • Produces timely, accurate sales management reports for senior management.
  • Understands the primary initiatives being driven by the company.
  • Comfortable with speaking publically and communicating our value proposition.
  • Meets and communicates extensively with leadership and other departments to ensure policies, programs, and strategies achieve MediExcels membership targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
