The Sioux Falls Skyforce is hiring for a Director of Business Development! As the Director of Business Development, your main responsibility is to generate revenue for our organization by creating and maintaining sustainable relationships with both individuals and businesses, emphasizing sales categories such as Sponsorships, Season Tickets and Group Tickets. Additionally, you will serve as the primary ticketing contact for our team as it relates to Archtics/Ticketmaster and league reporting.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or technical school; Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Team or Entertainment Industry knowledge is preferred. Background in Marketing and/or client service is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
