Genomic Life is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Client Manager to join our team. The Senior Client Manager is the key business owner for a book of business and is responsible for member retention and growth. This position will manage high value clients, their associated consultants and advisors, and facilitate introductions to new business opportunities and new distribution partners. In addition, this person must manage day-to-day activities to ensure a positive long-term client experience.
The Senior Client Manager is a consultative resource for their clients, recommending strategies to drive engagement and utilization to create long-term value. This role requires attention to detail, a high degree of organization, problem-solving capabilities, and strong communication/presentation skills. Prior employee benefits and/or health tech industry experience focused on large clients is a must for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build strategic partnerships with brokers, consultants, and clients for assigned territory/book of business
- Provide clients with education, development, and consultation around their Genomic Life program
- Identify opportunities to grow membership, enhance member engagement and retain customers
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, implementation, operations, member services, billing/finance and other internal partners to execute on client business plans
- Proactively manage pre-renewal communication with the goal of improving re-enrollment effectiveness, membership growth and persistency
- Drive and execute on engagement and growth strategies for each customer in their block
- Lead stewardship meetings with clients to discuss utilization, ROI, genetics insights, etc.
- Assist with administration and billing questions or issues
- Solicit client feedback, references and testimonials
- Present at client, broker, enrollment meetings and events to help educate drive awareness of the need for Genomics as a program (pre and post-sale)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of experience in a Client Manager role in insurance or a benefits-related industries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to utilize and leverage technology and systems
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
- With each customer, projects confidence and enthusiasm about the company
- Outgoing, excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
- Ability to work/partner with a team
- Strong business acumen
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and solve problems
- Results oriented
- Ability to travel 30% of the time
- Experience with SalesForce
Job Type: Full time
Salary Range: $100,000-115,000
