POSITION OBJECTIVE
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our internal marketing team. This person will be hyper focused on the question, “What can I do to build, improve, or operate our lead generation machine?” The Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping to establish systems of consistent and qualified inbound lead generation to provide exceptional chair candidates and drive demand for C12 content, membership, and leadership opportunity. Working with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Manager will be a key leader in building lasting systems, improving the overall customer experience, and growing the internal marketing team for the future. Bringing in previous marketing experience as well as an attitude of curiosity, willingness to experiment, and a highly analytical problem solving ability will make this person exceptionally successful. POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all customer acquisition marketing initiatives by determining strategies, selecting tactics, and developing annual marketing plans.
- Drive demand for C12 content, membership, and leadership opportunities.
- Establish, and continuously improve, customer persona profiles, customer journey maps,lead scoring protocols, and lead nurturing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish positioning, enhanceprospect/customer journey experiences, and identify traffic driving opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing market research to keep at the forefront of trends and competitormarketing movements.
- Direct the creation of marketing collateral to support lead generation and contentmarketing campaigns including web pages, digital advertising, email marketing, videos, podcasts, social media posts, articles, presentations, sales tools, flyers, direct mail pieces, and new product promotions, etc.
- Establish and track KPIs across the entire customer journey and acquisition program, measuring effectiveness to optimize future investment
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field is required
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in growth marketing, lead generation, or customeracquisition
- A multi-disciplinary background in digital advertising, lead generation, lead nurturing,content marketing, email marketing, SEO, or Google Analytics
- Proven track record of building successful inbound lead generation systems
- Possesses a creative problem solving attitude with an ability to think analytically
- Experience simultaneously managing the end-to-end creation, implementation, delivery,and reporting of multiple integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience designing, creating, or editing websites with a CMS website platform
- Ability to work, think, and make informed decisions independently with minimalsupervision
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
