If you are a highly organized and self-motivated individual with a passion for product promotion and specification, our position as an Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) Representative is an excellent opportunity for you. As an AEC Representative for Architectural Fabrication Inc., you will drive the specification process for our Division 10 Sun Protection (Canopies, Sun Shades, Awnings, Free-standing Structures and Custom) Products. Through your interactions with members of the specification community (face to face meetings, Lunch and Learn presentations and participation in industry events and organizations), you will be responsible for generating specifications and project leads.

The AEC representative is responsible for:

• Identifying, initiating, building, and maintaining relationships with key architects and other product specifiers to increase market share and booster overall sales volume.
• Introducing Arch-Fabs product lines and building brand awareness by making regular face to face calls to existing and new specifiers.
• Work independently, cooperatively, and enthusiastically toward the achievement of your individual objectives and the companys overall goals.
• Work with the internal account management team to develop architect targets and convert those targets to specifying architects.
• Schedule and conduct AIA-approved Lunch and Learn product knowledge sessions with architectural firms, other specifiers, and general contractors when appropriate.

Require Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or similar discipline preferred.
• 2 years of experience preferred as a specifications representative or in sales, preferably architecturally-specified products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Overnight travel as required.
• Architectural Specification or Design: 2 years (Preferred).
• Knowledge of construction materials: 2 years (Preferred).
