KAAST Machine Tools is a rapidly growing international machine tool distributor. We offer sales and service of high-quality CNC and conventional chip making equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, and grinders. KAAST also offers a complete line of fabricating equipment including press brakes, shears, angle and plate rolls, laser, and waterjet. Sales engineers must be willing to reach out to warm and incoming leads, analyze and review applications, and quote KAAST equipment in a timely manner. Travel is limited to about 10% and consists of 2-3 tradeshows per year. This position is primarily inside sales, however, KAAST has a company culture that gives our sales engineers the flexibility to visit customers and create strong long-lasting relationships with them. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decisions makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them. Our flagship warehouse is located in Philadelphia, PA, followed by our warehouse in Chicago, IL. We will be expanding in the near future with a warehouse in Texas. To start this process, we need inside sales engineers that work remotely from home to begin creating relationships. We are looking for a remote Inside Sales Engineer in Houston, TX with the following skills: * Capital equipment sales experience. Machine tool and/or fabrication equipment background is a strong plus. * Account management, inside sales * Travel to tradeshows 2-3 times a year * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM experience Responsibilities * Reach out to new clients, introduce KAAST's extensive line up of machinery, and grow relationships. * Work of a list of warm leads, and daily incoming leads. * Analyze and review client applications and processes, then quote correct machines for their needs. * Willingness and desire to learn and understand KAAST's line up. * Organize, self-motivate, and pick up the phone! Inside Sales Engineers are responsible for pushing our machine tool equipment primarily in the Houston area. The best person for this job is high-energy, personable, and well-spoken. This person should be familiar with the fields of manufacturing and/or production. Candidate must reside in or around the Houston area.
