Job Title: SPANISH Technical Sales Representative Job Description We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Representative responsible for developing and maintaining sales through professional techniques and quality customer service. The role primarily focuses on maintaining existing business while expanding new business opportunities. Responsibilities * Establish and surpass annual sales budgets. * Build and maintain quality relations with existing accounts while increasing sales volume. * Report business status to the supervisor and senior management effectively and concisely. * Contact customers through various communication methods, including travel, to meet sales goals. * Reevaluate strategies to increase market share and develop opinion reports. * Create customized proposals to efficiently meet customer requirements. * Stay informed on market conditions and product updates through available resources. * Utilize company leads to expand the customer base and follow up promptly. * Maintain organized files on all accounts within the assigned territory. * Submit call reports to the supervisor within 48 hours after visiting customers. * Submit monthly sales reports with complete documentation on account activity and proposals. * Provide information or follow up with customers as requested. * Collaborate closely with Technical Service on new applications and developmental enzymes. * Work jointly with Technical Service to promote new application areas. * Develop partnerships with new customers to expand expertise in the specialty enzyme area. Essential Skills * Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Biochemistry. * Bilingual in English and Spanish. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Proficiency in customer relations and service. * Diplomacy and professionalism. * Math and negotiation skills. * Effective presentation and time management abilities. * Mastery of closing techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Candidates with previous sales experience in the food industry are preferred. * Entry-level candidates welcome; training will be provided. Work Environment Enjoy a balanced work environment with a 37.5-hour work week. The position offers a great work/life balance, suitable for those looking to transition from lab work to a customer-facing role. Once hired permanently, travel may be required up to 30% of the time. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $41.02/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
