Automotive Account Manager If you're someone with automotive experience, understand the injection molding process, and enjoy hunting down new sales, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Our client is an established organization that is looking for an additional sales professional to grow sales in their Tier 1 clients. With the Sales Manager retiring within the next couple of years, this has the opportunity to turn into a leadership role! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at current and potential customers, preferably targeting Tier 1 Automotive customers. * Engage assertively with a 'hunter' mindset, securing new customers and growing existing accounts. * Calculate and present customer quotes; negotiate and close sales agreements, defining terms and conditions. * Stay updated on new products, market trends, supporting technologies, and competitive intelligence. * Collaborate with management and technical teams to meet customer requirements. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred but considerable sales history in lieu of degree may be considered. * Experience managing Automotive accounts * Expertise in injection molding to have technical discussions with prospective customers * Willingness to travel 30-50%, primarily in Michigan and neighboring states * Ability to develop and execute business development and sales strategies successfully. * 4+ years of sales experience with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
