POSITION SUMMARY You'll be at the forefront of automation technology, qualifying prospects in Northwest Michigan territory, conducting product demonstrations, and providing consultative sales solutions to help manufacturers optimize their operations. Working closely with inside Applications Engineers and Manufacturer Reps, you'll develop solutions tailored to each customer's needs. This role is a hybrid position and must live in the territory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Automation of technical hardware specification and system design * Maintain technical aptitude on all of the Automation product lines * Interface with customers, MCE OSR's, and manufacturers as a customer and vendor support resource * Design, implement, and refine project control narratives, quotations, and sales presentations to end customers * Vendor relationship management as designated REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES * Bachelor's degree (Preferred) * 1-3 years of experience outside sales * Proficient with computers and basic business software * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail * Proven project management skills What You 'll Need to Succeed: * A passion for problem-solving in a manufacturing setting. * A consultative sales approach with a customer-first mindset. * The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized. * A constant desire to learn and become a technical resource and teacher.
