With a focus on innovation and growth, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Customer Service representative. This individual will hold a hybrid role - supporting Customer Service in the front office and the Sales team on projects. Position overview: As Customer Service Representative / Inside Salesperson / Sales Engineer, you will support the front office team in a variety of ways related to customers, including answering the phones, serving customers needs directly, taking and inputting orders into our system, communicating with customers regarding pricing and delivery, and coordinating shipping and receiving as needed to support the office team. You may also help with estimating and come up with pricing on our products. The ideal candidate will be a service and product specialist, helping to generate valuable deals through strategic business development and by supporting the sales cycle from pre-sales through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Answer phone calls and emails to support customer service functions in the front office. Respond quickly to leads directly from our website. * Prepare customer orders, from quoting to inputting orders into the system. * Support the front office team in a variety of ways, including but not limited to, administrative work, filing, mail, generating reports, etc. * Build close partnerships with customers and help their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions to their needs. * Have an involvement in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals. * Develop and execute marketing strategies to support sales initiatives, including social media, LinkedIn, and Website. * Develop a solid pipeline of new business opportunities by identifying key decision-makers in target organizations. * Play a key role in relationship building with both potential and current clients. * Potentially learn how to estimate and quote directly to customers. * Negotiate Commercial Terms of business. * Attend trade shows, conferences and other industry-related events as required. Qualifications * Warehousing/Material handling sales experience a plus. * Learn quickly and comprehend difficult concepts. You possess the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial skills needed to grow with our business. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * CRM experience required. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in excel) * Ambitious, energetic, and passionate with a will to succeed with a growing company. * Ability to take on a variety of projects as needed. * Willingness to learn and develop skills. * Experience in customer service or business development role in North America region. * Effective and experienced in communicating value to all buying influences, positioning solutions, differentiating from competitors and creating and using sales tools to help win deals. * Local to St. Louis (or willing to relocate) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) 4% Match * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
