The divisions of our business include Miller Fabricated Systems, Flex Air, Miller Industries Representatives, and Fusion Cooling. Who We Want We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for our MIR Division in Fenton, MI. This position will support the development and implementation of strategic and tactical sales plans to achieve corporate objectives with the Company's products and services domestically and internationally. What You Will Be Doing * Implement strategic and tactical marketing and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives with the Company's products and services throughout specified region in the State of Michigan. * Review market analyses to determine customer needs and opportunities. * Represent Miller Industries, LLC. at trade associations and industry or business meetings to promote MIR products & services. * Monitor and evaluate the activities, products, and services of the competition in specified region in the State of Michigan. * Manage sales forecasting activities and performance goals accordingly. * Collaborate in product/service positioning, presentation, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible profitability and long-term market share. * Meet with key customers to expand relationships and generate sales. * Initiate, develop and maintain in-depth relationships with the Company's customers to ensure the customers are professionally maintained. * Perform other duties and tasks as may be directed by the Miller Industries management. * Must be comfortable with public speaking at associations, trade meetings, and corporate engagements along with being highly self-motivated. * Meet or exceed the sales goals established by the Divisional Director. * Other duties as assigned. What You Get Paid The position pays a competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD, STD, a 401k with immediate match, 10 paid holidays, PTO, and bonus eligibility. What Requirements Are Needed Minimum: Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university. Equivalent experience considered. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree Preferred. At least three (3) years in the HVAC industry is preferred, preferably in the HVAC and related construction industries. * Previous sales experience is a plus. * Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly. * Knowledge of contracts, negotiating, and proposal development and an eagerness to learn. * Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently. * Must have good people skills and an appreciation for relationship selling. * Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills * Must be comfortable with cold calling both via the telephone and face to face. * Must have professional written, verbal and presentation skills and the willingness to engage with a diverse customer base. * Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Must have the ability to produce quality presentation material and sales collateral within tight timeframes while simultaneously managing multiple projects. * Knowledge of the HVAC and related construction industries. Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications is a plus. * Must be comfortable with public speaking at associations, trade meetings, and corporate engagements along with being highly self-motivated. * Ability to travel within the state of Michigan.
