Full description of the position

RF Sales Engineer (Brea, CA): Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of design services, project management services, and construction. Advise sales staff on the technical aspects regarding sales and service. Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. Prepare design and project management budgets and approve budget expenditures. Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Direct, coordinate, and review sales and service accounting and record-keeping, as well as receiving and shipping. Complete radio frequency designs for budgetary purposes. Review designs and make adjustments as needed. Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. Be able to publicly speak on industry topics at conferences and webinars including private LTE/5G systems, neutral host distributed antenna systems, and land mobile radio systems. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States required 25% of the time. The exact client site location cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability. FCC General Radiotelephone Operator license required. EXPERIENCE : 2 years experience as an RF Sales Engineer, Solutions Sales Engineer, or related. 2 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering and Technical RFP response and defense experience.
