The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing new business relationships and securing contracts in the San Antonio region. * Responsibilities include: * Responsible for overall Business Development and Sales process which includes client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general BD/marketing/Sales responsibilities. * Develop and maintain industry relationships to support opportunity growth * Review public RFPs, identify opportunities, and track them in a CRM system * Identify leads and opportunities and track them in a CRM system * Write technical proposals that meet the requirements of RFPs * Conduct industry presentations and facilitate online events (webinars, industry workshops) Qualifications * 5-10 years of business development experience in engineering, construction, or construction technology * Experience writing technical proposals * Experience working with RFP systems * Experience working with senior leadership and executive teams * Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio * Experience in social marketing and ad campaign development and management
