We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Software Sales Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to *combine your technical knowledge/experience with business skills to sell software products and services centered around grid-scale energy management. * What You'll Be Doing: * Direct experience selling; DERMS, MDMS and related packaged software solutions and services * Direct experience selling software solutions to investor owned utilities public power utilities and cooperative electric utilities. * Finding new clients: Identifying potential clients in a specific sector that may benefit from the product or service * Building relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty * Understanding customer needs: Analyzing customer requirements and concerns to recommend technology products and provide technical solutions * Demonstrating products: Walking prospects through product demonstrations and answering questions about functionality * Making presentations: Preparing and delivering technical presentations to explain products and services to customers and at trade shows and seminars * Negotiating: Calculating client quotations and negotiating tender and contract terms * Closing sales: Agreeing to terms and conditions to close sales * Providing support: Offering after-sales support services and troubleshooting customer issues * Administering accounts: Managing client accounts and preparing reports Customer Relationship Reports for management What Required Skills You'll Bring: * Previous experience selling software to utilities is required for this role. * Bachelor's degree with typically 2+ years of related professional experience. * Strong communication and presentation skills, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities. * Responsible for supporting executives in solution selling to prospects, executing strategic deals, modeling financial business cases, and matching customer requirements to proposed solutions. * Sales experience. * Collaboration skills * Problem-solving. Extensive US based travel required * What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * 5 years of relevant experience in a similar Software or Technical Sales role within the Utility Marketis strongly preferred Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
