Job Title: Robotics and Automation Sales Engineer Location: Northville Salary: $90,000 per annum + car allowance Travel Requirement: 25-30% (2-3 days on the road every 2-3 weeks) About Our Client: Join a pioneering division within a well-established $3.5 billion company. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Robotics and Automation Sales Engineer to join their North American sales team. This role is crucial for advancing their initiatives in the humanoid space and medical automation sectors. You will be responsible for prospecting, managing programs, and driving new business growth. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct 30% of activities in prospecting, reaching out through sales propositions, and cold calling. * Manage 50% of activities in pushing existing programs and client interaction. * Allocate 20% of activities to internal reporting and operational tasks. * Target key accounts such as Tesla Robotics, * Work independently to generate and nurture leads, supported by company direction on priority accounts. * Collaborate across teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. Qualifications: * 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in robotics, automotive, or related mechanical/electronic systems. * A four-year degree, preferably with a mechanical or mechatronics background. * Demonstrate a mechanical curiosity (e.g., interest in woodworking or automotive tinkering). * Comfortable with cold calling and program management. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel as required.
